PDP (Process Design Package) is a package of Process oriented design and documents of the plant that elaborates process features of the technologies.
PDP comprises mainly preliminary PFDs, Heat and Material Balance, initial Equipment sizing
and list, process datasheets, process description, operating philosophy and manuals,
preliminary P&IDs, logic diagrams, fluid list, utility requirements, 3 wastes, equipment Layout,
materials of construction, and details of special design.
BEDP (Basic Engineering Design Package) are provided based on our PDPs. The content of the Basic engineering drawings and documents have enough detail that enables qualified contractors to start detail engineering, procurement and supply of key items, and start construction and installation.
BEDP typically includes design specifications and basis, codes and standards, technical
specifications, project procedures, arrangements and routings, equipment datasheets and
engineering, safety design and instructions, electrical and instrument designs, drawings and
documents of PDP package which are more detailed such as P&IDs, line list, battery limits,
etc.
FEED (Front End Engineering Design) that is sometimes also known as Extended-BEDP, apart from more detailed engineering aspects, elaborates investment costs, project execution plans, risk identifications and value strategies for customers prior to start of the EPC activities.
